Staking tutorial: A guide to earning rewards and managing token flow

Updated yesterday

Streamflow app is a secure and permissionless platform to create token staking pools with configurable rewards on Solana.

Step 1: Getting started

Start with connecting your wallet to our decentralized application and visit the staking page.

You need to click on ‘’Create New’’ to set up a new staking pool for your token.

Step 2: Configuration for staking duration

Firstly, you need to select the token of your choice for which you want to create the staking platform, the list of available tokens on your connected wallet is displayed in the drop-down menu of the token selection field.

Next, you need to enter the minimum and maximum duration for your staking pool, you can set duration limits in any timeframe of your choice such as day, week, month, quarter, or year.

You can also assign a reward multiplier for a longer duration of staking.

Step 3: Adding tokens to the Rewards Pool

You just need to select your reward token and enter the amount of tokens to be deposited into the reward pool. It is important to note that you will also have an option to top-up the reward pool later on.

You will also need to enter the release rate from the reward pool per token staked. The frequency of reward release is 24 hours by default and we will soon add more option for setting up custom frequency.

Estimated APY is displayed based on the set parameters.

There is also an option to add multiple tokens to the reward pool and you can have a unique release rate for each reward token in the pool.

Fee review page

After setting up the parameters of staking pool, you can proceed to fee review page. We charge 0.19% on top of tokens deposited into reward pool.

Note: Feel free to reach out for custom fee offer in tokens or stable tokens

Review of staking pool parameters

Make sure to double-check the set parameters as these are going to be immutable once the pool is created

Final step: Create the staking pool

Just click on the button and confirm the transaction on your wallet to create and deploy your staking pool.

You will see a confirmation as soon as your transaction is approved.

You can check and monitor the metrics of your staking pool.

Your staking pool will be available on the staking page on the Streamflow app and you can also share the direct link to your staking pool by copying the link from the top-right corner.

Note: we are soon releasing the widget for staking pools to enable a white-label experience, stay tuned!
