Create a Token Lock

How to create Token Lock contracts using Streamflow

Step 1: Connect your wallet to Streamflow

Step 2: Click on the 'Locks'


Step 3: Click ‘create new’, to set up a new token lock

Step 4: Choose the time-based lock type


Step 5: Choose the token you want to lock.

Step 6: Set a time and date for the tokens to unlock and click


Step 7: Choose your preferences and click 'Continue'


Step 8: Add recipients manually or upload a CSV file.


Step 9: Set the amount of funds you’d like to unlock to the recipient’s wallet, add the recipient’s wallet address and click continue.

Note: If you would like the funds to unlock back to the same address that created the Token Lock, click “Use connected wallet.”

You can also add a wallet address saved in your address book by clicking on the book icon in the wallet address field.

Step 10: Check the contract you have just configured on the Review page.

Step 11: Now hit "Create Lock" and you are all set! 🎉


⚠️ Important Warning: Locking Tokens Is Irreversible ⚠️

When locking your tokens, please note that locked tokens cannot be moved, accessed, or unlocked under any circumstances before the specified unlock date.

This process is designed to ensure the integrity of the lock mechanism and maintain trust in the system. By proceeding, you acknowledge and accept this condition. If you have any questions or need clarification, please reach out to us before locking your tokens.
