Staking BETA information

⚠️ Important information before committing to Staking BETA either as a staker, or as a project⚠️

Updated over a week ago

Before you commit to staking, it’s essential to understand the following:

  • Locked stake amount

Once staked, your tokens cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances until the staking period you’ve committed to ends.

  • Permissionless beta

Streamflow staking operates in a permissionless beta, meaning pool creators have full control over their configurations.

  • Pool depletion risks

If a pool dries out, you will be unable to claim rewards. Additionally, your initial stake will remain locked until the staking period concludes.

  • No platform intervention

Streamflow has no control over pool creators or their actions.
If a pool is depleted, Streamflow cannot intervene due to the permissionless nature of the platform.

Please carefully consider these points before proceeding with staking.

By proceeding, you acknowledge and accept this condition. If you have any questions or need clarification, please reach out to us before staking your tokens.

Before creating a staking pool, please take note of the following critical points:

  • Accurate reward calculations

Ensure your reward emissions and pool configuration are calculated accurately. Any miscalculations may lead to pool depletion, which will prevent stakers from claiming rewards and could harm your pool's reputation.

  • No platform interference

As our platform operates in a permissionless beta, we cannot modify or intervene in pool settings once the pool is live. The success and sustainability of the pool are entirely your responsibility.

  • Depletion risks

If your pool dries out, stakers will not be able to claim rewards, and their initial stakes will remain locked until the staking period ends. This could lead to dissatisfaction among your users.

  • Transparency with stakers

Clearly communicate the risks, rules, and expected returns to your users. Transparency helps build trust and encourages participation.

  • Testing and Monitoring

Double-check all parameters before deployment and monitor your pool's performance regularly to address potential issues proactively.

By following these guidelines, you can create a more reliable and user-friendly staking experience.
